U.S. President Barack Obama has canceled a planned visit to Australia and Indonesia this month. Description issued by the White House, Friday (04.06.2010) did not mention the reason of the cancellation to be decided when the U.S. faced a crisis of oil spills in the Gulf of Mexico.
Obama reportedly has submitted the cancellation decision was a visit to Prime Minister Kevin Rudd and President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono. This cancellation was also submitted after the news circulated in Indonesia about the possibility of terrorist attacks directed against foreign nationals on Obama's visit, initially planned to take place on 15th until June 17th.
Obama had been scheduled to visit Indonesia in March. Presidential Spokesman Julian Aldrian Pasha explained that Obama's visit this month postponed to November.
